Learning Assistants

All Ivy Tech Scholars receive support through opportunities to conduct and present research, participate in faculty and peer mentoring, participate in graduate school preparation, develop a working resume and prepare to participate in a summer internship or Research Experience. All scholars are strongly encouraged to attend at least two STEM conferences a year. In addition, some scholars serve as a Learning Assistant. Scholars, who work as Learning Assistants are employees of Ivy Tech Community College and assist with class preparation, directed learning activities and LSAMP recruitment.
