Faculty Mentored Research

IN LSAMP offers the opportunity for eligible STEM students to participate in a summer research program under the mentorship of a faculty mentor. Prior research participants have gone on to publish is scientific journals, excelled in graduate school, and worked within STEM related fields. Research scholars are eligible to receive financial support and funds for research supplies. Summer research scholars normally work 20 hours a week for 10 weeks. If interested in conducting research with a mentor during the academic year (10 hours a week for 16 weeks), please contact lsampiun@iun.edu to discuss your interest and complete an application
