Outstanding Faculty Mentor of the Year Award
Faculty mentors play a significant role in the IN LSAMP program where it is our mission to double the number of historically underrepresented populations receiving bachelor degrees in STEM disciplines. IN LSAMP faculty mentors dedicate time and space in their labs to help summer, and on occasion, academic year research scholars develop their repertoire to conduct an original research project. With this award we would like to highlight some of the great work that our mentors have provided to our students and program mission.
Nomination Process
The nomination portal for the 2022-2023 Outstanding IN LSAMP Faculty Mentor Award closed on April 7th. Award recipients will be announced at the recognition ceremony on April 21st.
Nominating a Faculty Mentor
In 500 words or less, please describe how the mentor supported you in pursuing your academic and professional goals. Include examples where possible. Nominators can expect to spend approximately 30 minutes completing the form.
